Required TRaIL Work:
All Runners are required to participate in 4 hours of Service - either trail work or volunteering at a race or make a donation to their local trail organization equivalent to 4 hours of work. This has been strongly encouraged for the past 3 years. We will now require it. As this sport grows we need to ensure that we are also giving back to our local trail running communities.
Runners can find volunteer opportunities at races or through their local trail organizations to fulfill this service requirement. We will accept work/volunteering from August 1, 2024 - March 5, 2025. We request that this form be completed by March 5 for our 2025 event. Or report your donation to the Race Director via email. We will track these stats to help show how our Chuckanut 50k community directly supports trail work, volunteering at races and financial contributions to our sport and the lands we recreate with.
Options for trail work:
In Washington, WTA.org has a great resource on their website for their trail work program. Their winter work parties fill fast, so be sure to plan ahead. You can email Volunteer@wta.org for more information.
Your local trail organization.

We will issue refunds as the requests are submitted. We will not issue any refunds after February 15, 2024. If you pre-ordered a shirt, we will send it to you, just let us know via email that you still want it. We do not allow entry roll-overs or transfers and are unable to issue refunds after that date.
Wait-Listers
We do our best to get the entire waitlist into the event, permits pending. Wait-listers will receive an invite email from Pacific MultiSports with a link to complete their registration and payment.
Special requests
All runner (late entry, elite requests, etc) and sponsor special requests must be received no later than February 15 to be considered.
Event cancelLation
In case of cancellation of the event, for whatever reason, decided more than 14 days before the date of the start of the race, a partial refund of the registration fees will be made to currently registered runners. The amount of this refund will be fixed so as to allow the organization to cover all irredeemable expenses committed, up to the date of the cancellation. In case of a cancellation decided less than 14 days before the start, or in case of interruption of the race, for whatever the reason, no refund of the registration fee will be made.
