Aid station 3 at the Chuckanut 50k.

THIS is what it takes!! In 2019 our course had a persistent covering of snow and ice. Our volunteers rallied around our Plan B to move our #2 and #3 aid stations. #3 required massive work to hike in supplies (hundreds of pounds of water, cola, food, costumes and other goodies) ~1mile uphill in the snow, on Friday and more on Saturday morning. One of our volunteers put together this video to show the teamwork to pull Aid #3 together and the fun they had doing it.

Mark Griffith, 2019 early starter and Chuckanut 50k finisher, shares his race day experience in this sweet video.

I "ran" the Chuckanut 50K. There was so much snow on the trail! Daunting to see how fast others were flying by me, but I finished.
